Description
The Villa ‘Estrela do Mar' is simply unique, offering stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean, from both within the house and out on the deck. In addition to the breath taking views, guests can enjoy the villa’s outdoor space, tastefully decorated with decking, great outdoor dinning area, a wonderful relaxing sitting area, as well as having a heated pool at one´s disposal (daily supplement). The "Estrela do Mar" is a villa full of natural light, making for wonderful atmosphere. It is decorated and furnished to meet high standards, assuring all guests a memorable experience. Air conditioned throughout, the Villa is indeed a pleasure to stay in.
In the winter one can enjoy the fire place, while in the Summer the air conditioning ensures a cool atmosphere. The kitchen, fully equipped with modern amenities, overlooks the pool, and has a stunning view of the ocean, allowing for great cooking experiences
Outside, on late summer evenings, barbecuing is definitely a must, as is enjoying a late evening drink on the terrace while watching the sun set.
The 'Estrela do Mar' is located in a quiet residential area, from where one can go on a number of walks, enjoying stunning scenery along the way, or perhaps be tempted to paraglide …. Or simply just enjoying the neighbourhood, while savouring a homemade meal in the local restaurant …

The Villa is situated in the Sitio Ladeira das Voltas, located in the upper area of Arco Da Calheta.
The village, still very traditional, is situated on the south coast of Madeira, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Seen from the sea, the village creates the impression of a Roman amphitheatre.
This particular location allows the development of a gentle microclimate with plenty of sunshine and wonderful temperatures throughout the year. It is the ideal starting point for exploring the island, to the west, the north and the east.

Check in times are from 16h. In the event of availability, early check ins are possible.
The supl fee for late arrivals from 22h00 to 00h00 is 20,00€
The supl fee for arrivals after 00h00, is 40,00€
Check outs are until 10h00. In the event of availability, a late check out can be possible.

It’s important to us that the villa is not only clean but smells clean and it ticked both boxes! A really lovely feel to the whole villa from top to bottom with amazing views of the town below and the Atlantic! All of the staff were totally helpful asee more

A really lovely feel to the whole villa from top to bottom with amazing views of the town below and the Atlantic! All of the staff were totally helpful and friendly. We do lots of cooking and the kitchen was amazingly well equipped for this, there is usually something missing wherever you go but Estrela do mar had it all and more!!
